MOUNTED PATROL UNIT
test description
test description
The Village of Belleville officially approved the addition of a Mounted Patrol unit to the Police Department on May 20, 2013. Sergeant Molly Hultine uses her personally owned horses to do mounted patrol.
The original mounted patrol horse, a 20+ year old mare, Lady, has been retired. Monty is now the lead horse, assisted by Captain and Taser. The Belleville Mounted Patrol unit appears at many functions in Belleville and other agencies, including the Bike Rodeo, EMS Open House, Lakefest and Community Picnic in Belleville, and National Night Out in Verona, Oregon and Brodhead, Dairy Day Parade in Green County and the Oregon Safety Camp.
